Web Interface on Pocket PC

Can someone tell me if the web interface for the Pocket PC will support MPEG4 video / audio via RTSP. I have and Axis Server product that is capable of streaming MPEG4 but can't find anything that will play the stream on a Pocket PC. Dan

I think this is the case. I am currently looking at the source to discover how to remove some of these. Anyone know if changing the CLOCK_FREQ or INPUT_RATE_DEFAULT is an option. It looks like they are used all over the source for buffering values. There are also a lot of hardcoded values throughout...

I am not sure that you can compile this under cygwin. I was going to try the same but could find no instructions that implied you could. I have ended up setting up a linux box but still can not get it built.

UDP Streaming Failure Win CE?

Cant get UDP streaming of video to work on a Win CE device . What libs provide this support. Are there specific flags that can enable or disable this? Does --disable-sout on the receiving device affect it? Monitoring the device shows that an attempt is made for communications but no video is display...

Same here, build was crap. Had to go through all sorts of file movements only to find out the the crap won't play any video. Did it with a bunch of different sources. This is frustrating because obiviously someone has built it since they put an updated binary on the downloads. They obviously don't w...

Streaming Broken

Can not stream to VLC Win CE build. I build using all the instructions, all comes up but will not receive streamed video of any type. This has got to be the most frustrating thing I have ever come across. Open source my butt.

Sorry, the IRC chat guys put me on the right path. Turns out that the snapshots that I downloaded do not have the file INSTALL.winCE which describes the build process. The vlc-trunk from the svn server does.

Try a little more work and use the wizards to try to open a file. Read, Read, Read. It is not extremely easy to use but is very powerful IMHO! :D

The tar.tar issue is that any file downloaded with Windows XP that ends in .tar.bz2 will automatically end up being created on the XP box as .tar.tar. I found this emphasized in one of the help documents on the VLC developer site. Another one of those windose sabatage's, I guess? Caused me quite a b...
