Also having problems to stream from my sat receiver to my PC. Used to work some time ago. The problem may be re-introduced while update the VGA driver or VLC. Picture freezes after a second or so. But works fine if I disable HW accel. completely. But then the CPU load is 30% and GPU load 40%. How do...

Re: VLC snapshot error in file names

I also had this error on Windows 10 64 bit with VLC 2.2.2 64 bit (as well as 2.2.1 and 2.1.5 64 bit) - replacing it with the 32 bit version solved it. Thank you! Re: How enable GPU decoding?

When I use GPU Decoding screenshots are blue-ish. Back to non GPU an everything is in normal color again. Oh, I did see that the blue is only visible while the screenshot gets previewed in vlc. When opening it in windows explorer, it is in right colors. Correction: At the time I wrote the statement...

That sound rocker can be scrolled through twice with the mouse wheel like this: |0%-----100%-0%-----100%|

Re: Mono MP3 is silent/muted

My file has 51Mb. It is from engadget.com

http://podcasts.aolcdn.com/engadget/pod ... st_208.mp3

Either that file is fine for you, or I have to look how I can cut the mp3 in a shorter file

Re: How enable GPU decoding?

I can't find it.

Is it called accelerated video output (overlay) or use hardware yuv->RGB conversions? Both are checked already.

Re: Crackling audio on AVI playback. Codec problem?

I normally don't use VLC volume control and leave it at 100% all the time.
And I have the crackling, too.

Your solution doesn't help.

Re: Crackling audio on AVI playback. Codec problem?

I have that crackling sound too, when watching podcast mp3s.
I don't have the crackling when using windows media player.
And they occur at the same time. e.g. at 2:44 and 3:08
And I set output to win32 wave out but still cracks at 2:44 and 3:08
