but why If I play a video file with VLC 720x576 pixel anamorphyc, vlc sets automatically the aspect ratio to 16:9?
the problem is in the streaming side or the player side?

I'm receiving a video stream (generated with vlc) 720x576 pixel anamorphyc...it means the player should set automatically to 16:9 instead of 4:3...is there any way to do it automatically?

NOW I HAVE 2 PROBLEMS:

a) understand where is the connection problem...while http it works very well and reliable...any ideas?

the client is outside the Lan (i'm working frome remote) and I need the client outside the lan.

but the ports used are not the one I put in the string...

theora is entered into html 5 format....soon million of video will be converted in ogg theora format using vlc...it would be a pity not to use improved efficency of Thusnelda encoder....
