really? that sucks, but it doesn't matter. i guess im lucky i have a fast cpu, i feel sorry for atom users! but I'd say vlc does a good job decoding a 28mb/s file with one core and no hardware acceleration PLUS filters. the video plays fine without de-interlacing on, but i cant stand scanlines.

i seem to be one of the few ati users here, and the problem was solved by switching to open gl rendering, and it doesn't break aero! i have windows 7 build 7077 and catalyst 9.9. the only problem i have, is that uber high bitrate h264 videos tax my cpu twice as much as the default mode. my 3.6ghz am...
