Re: [Script] Download subtitles on-the-fly

I recently upgraded both of my machines to Windows 8 and re-downloaded the installer, and this add-on still works remarkably well. There is an issue where the playback stalls for an instant when applying the downloaded sub, and sometimes it will not load the sub automatically, but the sub is still t...

Re: no sound to hear!

It's what I get for using Old 'Tech, heh. Maybe I can try "ASIO4all" and see if that does anything. We 001 owners all are stuck using Pro Tools 6.4 and maybe Sonar 5 but not much else.

Re: Codec Error: Use Windows Media Player

Just remember, it is not enough to scan your PC with your regular AntiVirus and AntiMalware programs - I use NOD32 for best AV protection - You have to check for Rootkits as well. With Malwarebytes, there is an addon program called "Anti Rootkit" under the "More Tools" panel in t...

Re: Auto-sync subtitles

I suppose with all of the different types of Subs, this would be difficult to implement. There is a script addon that allows you to search for the exact version of the release you are playing - It downloads Subs "on the fly" right into the folder where you have the content stored. I found ...

Re: Saving adjustments of the equalizer

I'd like to see that as well. maybe just a way to save any adjustments I make. I think I have asked that in here as well. I take it that saving the preset would be a function of the plugin that handles this? So we would have to ask the person who made that plugin, are they still around?

Re: HOW DO YOU SAVE EQUALIZER PRESETS IN VLC?????

I think I've asked about this as well, I have a preset I make that works for my Audio system and I'd like to save it. Is there any way to modify the existing presets, maybe put mine in there?

Re: VLC keeps playing the 2nd audio track

I've had this same problem, with content that has other than English as the default language... But I've always set English as default language in the player and it usually works. Can I get this MKVMerge from somewhere? Of course I'll google it, so thanks for the info.

Re: Building VLC for iOS

If any of you need a beta tester for your builds, let me know. Can I offer that here? If not, I apologize. The one thing sadly missing from iOS is any release of VLC. If I knew how to work with these source codes I'd try it myself. What tools would I need to give it a go, would Python work?

Re: [Script] Download subtitles on-the-fly

I'm not sure which one - It had a Windows Installer, and I just checked the latest version does not have one. The Windows package was numbered version 1.1.0. I've used it quite a bit - I'd like to add in the one site where I get a lot of my subs. I get most of my subs from Addic7ed,com. There is one...

EQ Presets and Custom Settings

I was wondering if there can be a way for us to save our custom EQ settings, once we exit the application it all goes away, and there is no "Save" feature for the plugin.

I take it there are "Old Skins" and "new Skins" in the skin package I downloaded - Can the older skins be converted up using the Skins Editor?

Re: VLC Skin Editor // Current release: 0.8.5

This is great, I'm a long way from being able to design a skin, but using this tool I can fiddle around with it. I can add Playlist Save buttons to any existing skins I use, and that's my only gripe with skinning, so this editor is a great thing to have.

Re: Question about functions while in Skin mode

Yah thats a very old skin. I see some resources I can download, a skin editor I'll goof around with that. I'll have to bookmark this so I can refer back to it, thanx! (Grr! I know I have Java in this heap, it updates frequently enough. I noticed the one it wanted me to download was Oracle rather tha...

Re: [Script] Download subtitles on-the-fly

Wow - That works GREAT! It does take some fiddling with, as some of the subs are either zipped or not there at the URL it finds... But I was able to find the sub for the exact release, I used Fringe S1E1 as a test, it found the exact version of the release I was viewing, loaded it up and even copied...

Question about functions while in Skin mode

Hi, I've been a member here for a while, but I've never posted anything (well, hardly anything). I just have a quick question, and it is probably a stupid question but here goes. I use a custom skin that goes with the LCARSx86 shell for windows. While in this mode, I cannot save a playlist. the key ...

Re: Codec Error: Use Windows Media Player

Krikes! I know to look out for THAT now! Thanx for the warning... I always scan everything I get anyway. I can't imagine uTorrent itself getting hackeysacked! Try deleting it... and getting rid of all the leftover files. I like the uTorrent client cos I can control what I'm doing better... On the Ma...

Hi, I've got the same problem It looks like at one time, VLC version 0.7.1 had Digi Output: From 2004: http://forum.videolan.org/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1514&start=0 Hello, I'm having problems with the audio of the VLC 0.7.1: The Digi 001 only sounds in the left speaker. I've noticed that VLC on...
