I'd like to start using airplay through my airport express for VLC and am trying to combat the 2 second delay. Is there a way to permanently have a -2000 audio delay when I open VLC so I don't have to manually adjust it each time?

Does anyone have a workaround for this? Will this be considered for a future update considering it's been an option on windows for years?

I have volume assigned to just the up and down arrows and when I adjust it used to show it on the screen, it still works but without telling me to what percentage.

I selected it and then went into the effects button and turned it on but it doesn't seem to make any difference.

For the speakers I use (audioengine A5's) action sequences and scores are always much much louder than plain dialogue, I find myself having to quickly adjust volume between scenes because of this. Is there a preset or option that could level everything out?

Where in my directory is the folder though. I don't keep dmg files after I've installed them. I'm on 1.1.9 and will stay on it until 2.0 doesn't need to "repair" every video I try to play.

how do I get to the goodies folder?

I'm in that section but every dropbox is blank and its not letting me select anything.

I used to have them set at 5 seconds each and don't remember how to get to that option.

I'm new to vlc on ipod. Trying to get it to show up in itunes as I've seen it in numerous youtube tutorials. I know its meant to show up in "file sharing" from the device apps tab but it won't show up despite it being installed and showing from the above. any help? http://gyazo.com/e446026...

This is my first mac so I'm not aware if its just with Lion but I've always kept my arrows keys for volume up and down and left and right for rewind/ff by 5 seconds. it allows me to set the hotkeys they just don't work. these keys aren't binded to anything else so i'm not sure what to do.

i bought a new computer and need to get VLC on there but am hoping there's an easy way to save my hotkeys/various settings as its going to be difficult going through everything trying to figure out what i set and what was default.

the "p" key goes dead when vlc is open, only working both in VLC and outside of it when holding shift. when i [x] out of VLC, everything is back to normal. what can this be?

also unrelated but to avoid a second thread, i'm trying to do a default set ratio and when i enter it (2.35:1 for example) it gives me a different size than when i manually change it to the default 2.35:1. any idea there?
