Thanks for your reply. Yes I open the movie via media. Where is the option to remove %appdata%\vlc folder?

Screen Scrambles when I Go to Play a DVD from the Drive

When I open the DVD from the drive everything scrambles. I have the latest version of VLC. The screen shows multi colours and the sound scrambles too. Any other file is fine, only DVD's from the drive. Can anyone help with this. Is it a DVD region thing?
