Problem found :D Actually the video playback was slower than the audio, leading to frequent out of sync. After forcing to Directx3D output, rather than default, I got a correct playback. I just wonder why the default preset was doing ok on VLC 0.8 :wink: Thanks a lot for your quick and helpful answe...

Jerky sound VLC 1.0.1 XP

I have a weird problem with my notebook (Core 2 duo T7400, Radeon 2400HD Realtek ALC660 and WINXP) If I play any video vith the last VLC (release 1.0.1) the sound appears running irregularly, with clicks, brief out of sinc, silence and so on.
