Re: Streaming from Dreambox to VLC 1.1.0 doesn't work

Just want to say, on windows version of VLC it works. But.... ...Vlc win32 version 1.1.0 does play stream from Dreambox(i use Stream Interface of Openpli at DM8000, stream same as webcontrol/webtv does). But in vlc win32 version 1.1.1 it (open network stream) doesn't work anymore. I get black screen...

Re: vlc - hardware decode for H264 ?

Ok, a bit old topic. but.... ....thanks VLC developers for adding GPU hardware acceleration support! I really see a difference when playing h264 or vc1 video codec. (in fact, if i reencode a mpeg2 file to h264&pcm avi file, then it looks more sharp). A giant beer for the one who added gpu suppor...

Re: VLC AC3 SPDIF Output

Sorry for late reply. With this settings: -output type : win32 waveout -force detection of dolby surround : off -use s/p dif when available. It's perfect. But only with the win32 waveout selection. (restart vlc after making these settings, before you start playing) I use it with Soundblaster Audigy ...

Re: VLC AC3 & DTS SPDIF Output

Hello all. I discovered that i won't get ac3 or dts 5.1 output over sp/dif. With VLC 1.0.5 Goldeneye. The Soundblaster Audigy is configured ok(powerdvd does it good, but will cut audio if i move video to 2nd display). VLC only send pcm stereo over sp/dif to 5.1 amplifier. Is their a solution? I use ...

Re: DirectX vs OpenGL video output modules in VLC

do i need to install OpenGL? thanks. Well I use OpenGL video output in VLC. It gives the best video result here to view on 2nd 42inch plasma screen. OpenGL is supported by my Nvidia 6200 Chipset, and so i don't have any openGL software installed(only nvidia driver). I use Nvidia settings to adjust ...

Re: Why won't VLC play my .trp files?

Good question... Also when the recording is getting big, it's split in *.trp *.001 *.002 *.003 and so on. My vantage HD8000S uses about +-5 GigaByte for every recording hour. :geek: http://www.hwmmc.de/ebay/af7merge.gif For windows we can use if nessesary AF7 http://www.fauland.com/af7.htm to merge ...

Re: Looking to fund VLC to Android project

I read a message online about the new Mozilla browser for mobiles (Fennec is written in C/C++).
It seems that Androids Native development kit (NDK) uses C/C++

So I guess it's possible to run a vlc runtime library on Android.

But hey, I'm not a programmer.

M4a is a extension. it means: Advanced audio coding audio only with no drm in a mp4 container. So i guess you mean the AAC (Advanced Audio Coding) codec /mp4a in vlc. I have no problems with playing my *.m4a files (aac/16bit/2.0 & 5.1/48KHz) on vista 64bit (uptodate, without the crap) & vlc ...

There is no VLC-w64 because the compiler is not ready.
How about Free Pascal as Windows x64 compiler?

Whalley2. It's a weird posting that you dropped. Because what is the problem? You can download VLC for windows(it's on version 1.0.2 these days) : http://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-windows.html And What do you use to unpack archive files? maybe it's useful to use a 3th party archive program. For windows, try to look at Soundcard preferences, of course depending on the type of soundcard chipset/drivers you use. (I use Vista to look for config location, i guess win7 has same location, since newer windows version isn't that new, it's more a marketing bling/hype) : Control Panel(classic) ->...
