Could be used if it was a local file but what if it is a file on the web. If there was a way of doing it on vlc it would be nice because of the many ways vlc can access video material. :wink:

dos command for getting length off given video.

Would very much like to be able to capture the video length of a given video. Are able to make dos commands which open. copy, stream and takes snapshots of given videos. but would realy like to get the length in seconds.

Thanks a lot that worked just nice. I was trying all sort of things with raw but that did not work. Now my little program database with build in timer works just as I like it to. Thanks again.
