FTP by default?

Hi, I have all my movies on a server. While browsing through the File Explorer on my server and clicking on a movie-file (avi, x264 etc etc) I want it to stream in FTP in my VLC and play the movie instead of opening "as usual". What am I trying to do? Is it Video On Demand or how can I set...

When you say x264, what do you mean?
Do you need more input or are you able to reproduce the error?

Yes, some do. I don´t have any list on which one though. But if they work, I instead get problems with their built in DVD-menu, it hangs in some kind of loop.

Maybe a stupid question, but how to use this supported function?
I just managed to uese multi-filed rar-archive via the Open Folder menu and select all rar´s, but this feels realy strange...
