Thanks for your response, but you mean in preferences, video, accelerated video output(overlay)? I've uncheck it. The problem continues.

Hi, I'm having problems playing HD videos as you can see in the image. http://s15.postimage.org/bxgzh522f/Clipboard02.jpg The screenshot was taken from a movie in mp4, x264 codec. Resolution: 1280*720. It's like drizzle, grainy. I don't know. How is it called? Is there a technical name? It happens o...

Re: How to generate thumbnails from video?

Thanks. Just one more question. I thought VLC could create thumbnails in a single file just like MPC. Can it? This code, "C:\Program Files\VideoLAN\VLC\vlc.exe" "F:\Documents and Settings\username\My documents\Videos\filename.flv" --video-filter=scene --scene-format=png --scene-r...

Re: VLC does not support the audio or video format "vo3+"

You need to remux the file to OGM, for instance with AviDemux using the Copy Stream feature so there will be no reencoding. And VLC will be able to play this OGM file with sound. Thanks. I'm downloading Avidemux. Tools -> Preferences (All) -> Input/Codecs -> Other Codecs -> Tick the box for Prefer ...

Hours/min/secs is not present anymore while FF

Hi, I've been using VLC Media Player for a long time. In the old versions, I could drag that button(I don't know the name of the button) to fast forward while seeing hours/minutes/secs.
Now, in this updated version, it displays 1.00x| buff: 0%(number varies). Is there a way to put it back as usual?
