im using sometime short clip as wallpaper in vlc
but nowhere in options i found where to disable popup ballon
when VLC is in systemtray and its annoying sound when baloon popups
(upon playing new clip or reloading the same)

is there any way to disable this ?

i will try then 1.1.x

as for antivirus or simmiliar, i dont have and never had any active protections.

note that i use only VLC and MediaPlayerClassic on my system as players 1st problem is present since ... well 2 years i use VLC and since then... whenever VLC reads from CD or DVD movie it doesnt "read ahead", it reads reads and then disc stops on second and continue to run, VLC then stops...
