I have to admit, that OK was not too much of help resolving the issue.

Yes it is. Same thing on MacPro on Mountain Lion.

Hope we are talking the same thing:
VLC.app/Contents/MacOS/plugins/libpostproc_plugin.dylib

Tried every version since then. Its simply greyed out. Even tried to copy old library over to new version to no avail.

That would be very cool (sitting in front of a 30" display). I think DIVX Player handles things that way. But they use mousewheel to adjust zoom, which is STUPID!

I usually don't fiddle around with too many settings. The ones I use are accessible under window > extended control. The missing one is Sharpness in this window (I think it is there in the windows version). And it would be very smart to take effect without restarting the app. THX and keep up the goo...
