Hmmm.... It seems to be alright now that I tried this: Tools > Preferences > Video > Outpout > Direct3D video output (the 2nd one of the two). But multitasking back to World of Warcraft after pausing VLC can take like 5-10 seconds. Still getting rid of that annoying choppiness is worth it.

Any fixes?

I'm thinking this perhabs is due to multiple processors. I myself are having duo core.

Does it happen with all files, but just latest MKVs ?

GUI says 200%, but Ctrl+arrowup can give as much as 400%.

if they cant program then dont give vlc out to the people assholes

After I upgraded to 1.1.1 audio is choppy with me too.

VLC is crap now.

Where do I find that version?

I'm jumping on this thread because I got the same problem after upgrading to 1.1.1

However Ctrl+Q works, but a fix would be better, since old habbits are hard to break

I want to record a few seconds from a video, but it saves audio only.

It happens on every file I play. The program just exits as soon as I hit the Snapshot button.

Sometimes when I try to spool by seconds it won't jump. Sometimes I can click many times (a certain amount) and then it jumps.

Only happens with MKV files.

Every time I start a file I want VLC to start maximized, not full screen, but maximized.

How?
