nice! thanks for the help guys, I just knew there was an option for that..really solved the problem!

I've searched countless of forums and the net regarding the topic.
There has been a solution using terminal; which doesn't work.
Another solution by 'deleting preferences' which does not actually disable/ remove the feature.

Any solutions? Thanks again

hey i'm having the same problem as well.. I've searched the forums and the net and still nothing on how to disable the 'open recent' feature
in VLC yet. can anyone give a solution?
