Sounds like a bandwidth issue MKVs are usually for high def videos and if you are trying to stream this over the internet, you are probably going to have some problems. I miss spoke, yes the HTTP handshakes and then a connection is established but you are still serving data thats what i ment.

why are you using HTTP access, why not stick with UDP, if you need help on multicasting let me know, HTTP is a very bad protocol for for Audio and Video due to the overhead associated with it

What protcol are you streaming out with Http: or UDP or mms. UDP can eliminate buffer fillers because it is a burst protocol. Http has to wait to fill then send so it sounds like you are using http to stream out. If you need help on UDP let me know.

Yes this is Possible, If you intend to watch TV on it i recommed a Coxial USB 2.0 Tuner Card but this would work as well, you don't even have to use the Direct Show, you can install the driver and run it with the proper driver. If you need help setting it up just reply.
