Im finaly happy to say the my problem is fixed. ill explain the cause and how to fix. Ok the first thing you need to check is go into start>run>then dxdiag then go to the display tab. make shure that at the bottom that these three options are enabled http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb270/violetbl...

hay Kathi1301 i want to check to see if theres any similarities on our system. First go to start>run>then type in dxdiag> then go to the display tab at the bottom there should be three options that have a enable button and a disable button. i want to know if ur direct draw acceleration is off or it ...

I may have found the problem whilest searching for another one. i decided to check out my my direct x logs in dxdiag and found something unusual in the display tab... it says the my direct draw acceleration was not available... which is very very wierd. ive never disabled and it turns out that there...

well this is upsetting since my ouput isnt being switched to open GL and if that were the case me reinstalling it and deleting cache and preferences would of fixed it. :(

i tried .9.8 and 0.8.6i and still same thing.... i guess it is some display driver problem but i cant see where that could be. Ive updated my drivers ive seen no difference in other things like playing games. i didnt even have a problem with pixelation in .9.9 but just suddenly one day i notice all ...

but for some reason with this output its the best quality i can get and thats pretty bad. any other ideas? how about a older version of VLC? would this help?

ive removed the appdata vlc folder and still nothing. I dont see how this is a driver problem because with these same drivers the picture quality was perfect. ive tried all output modules and the only one that helps a little is the directx 3d video output. This gets rid of the pixelation but everyth...

my video drivers are up to date. This shouldnt be a problem though. i find this very odd.... no one has had this problem before? i feel like the video is being put through a filter somehow or something with the resolution is somhow pixelating the video...

i have tried all of the output modules but i believe i have alwaysed used the default. o and i have reinstalled VLC but im still on the same boat.
