I am using Windox XP home edition, SP 2.

In safe mode,

Cannot uninstall
Can use it to play video.
Havent try to re-install

when I tried to uninstall VLC either using the standard window add/remove software or the uninstall.exe in the VLC folder. The screen blink and then it just doesnt remove. Basically.. NOTHING happened.

Hi, I can only use VLC player in safe mode. In other user profile, when I click the file to play, the privary and network policy appears for like a sec. and then disappers, it will not play the media file.
