Is there some way to switch to the item according to the position in the list? Just like in the TV remote control...

So both ActiveX and Firefox plugins are no longer beign developed?

It seems like the Firefox plugin has the very same things.
I doubt that it's a bug. It seems like the ActiveX object and firefox plugin were fully rewritten in VLC 1.0 and everything got changed there.
I've reverted to VLC 0.9.9 and will use it so far.

Same thing happens in RC3 and the bug tracker doesn't seem to work ,Which lead me to think that it's an expected behavior.
Ok, I'll use 0.9.9 then.
