It originally came in a .zip file which I already unzipped. I used gunzip on the .vgz file and all it does is make a file called "gztemp". When I try to open it in VLC player I get the following: "VLC can't recognize the input's format: The format of 'F:\Music\Music3\\Streets_of_Rage\...

I tried to play an audio file which has the extension ".vgz", but it does not seem to work. I've tested the file with a plug-in for another program and it works.

I guess it's a video file, but the file I was trying to play is just audio.
