Using libavcodec_plugin.dll from VLC 1.1.4 in VLC 1.1.5 did not solve the issue in my case.
Still stuttering, hangs on playback. Process has to be killed since it does not exit after the hang.

AFAIK, no special features.
Since I uninstalled and removed all VLC directories before installing 1.1.5, I'm using the defaults created by the installer. Usually this works for me fine.

After upgrading from VLC 1.1.4 to VLC 1.1.5, it is impossible to view any kind of video file. After a few seconds video and audio start to stutter and become choppy.
