Re: Audio starting with 1-2 sec delay

Thanks unidan! Is there an estimate on when 4.0 will be released? Is there any way to deal with this issue in the meantime?

Re: Audio starting with 1-2 sec delay

Still having this problem, even on a new machine. VLC 3.0.4 and macOS Mojave. I'm using Bluetooth headphones. The problem seems to be specific to VLC (e.g., it doesn't happen in iTunes). Any thoughts?

Audio starting with 1-2 sec delay

I'm running macOS Sierra 10.12.6 and VLC 2.2.6. I've been having a consistent problem that when playing MP3s in VLC on a playlist, it starts the audio a second or two late. I have to go into the app and manually rewind each song to the beginning to start it from the top. What's going on here?

Re: Where are navigation/fullscreen controls?

Yeah, I just downloaded 1.0.0, and it has mostly what I'm looking for, so while I'm very curious why one would put out such a full-featured and powerful media player that lacks as basic a feature as GUI skip back/forward, I'll drop it :) What I'm wondering now is how to add buttons to the fullscreen...

Re: Where are navigation/fullscreen controls?

But is there no way to navigate backwards and forwards in 0.99? That's what the machine I'm using has, and it's also the latest version used in the portable VLC I found on portableapps.com.

Where are navigation/fullscreen controls?

Hey, sorry for a major n00b question, but I've been using VLC on Mac without a problem, but lately I've had to use it on Windows - same version, 0.99, but I can't seem to find two of the most useful features that the Mac version has: the navigation floater in fullscreen mode, and the buttons to navi...

Re: Cursor sometimes not disappearing in full screen

Thanks for checking in - at least the developers know about it.

Just to add to Josh's posts - the problem occurs for me even when I don't follow his prescription, although I still haven't figured out how to reproduce it yet.

Yes - I was unaware of its existence :) Will download it, come back if the problem reoccurs.

Re: Cursor sometimes not disappearing in full screen

Most recent OS (10.5.7), VLM 0.8.6f Janus (Intel). Playing AVIs if that matters (not sure of the codec, but it's over a range of videos anyway). It's a recurring issue so I'm not sure if restarting is a temp fix (since this is sporadic) but it's definitely not a permanent fix :)

Cursor sometimes not disappearing in full screen

Every now and then (and increasingly often, lately) when I go into full screen and move the mouse cursor away from the control box, the cursor won't fade away as it usually does - and that obviously gets in the way of the movie! It seems like sometimes the way to fix it is to click inside the contro...
