vcodec=mp2v from the web interface does indeed work.

In the web interface you have to save the http streaming/video codec/audo codec stuff for every file you want to play. So when you browse to another file you want to add after you set up the first one, click save for the other options. Rinse and repeat.

Play the disc, when you get to the sound byte you want go to Start, Accessories, Entertainment, Sound Recorder. I think you can record up to 60 seconds at a time. Or use Audacity. I don't think I've heard of anything specific to video to capture audio only. But the easiest route is as I mentioned.
