i'm talking about the ability to toggle scaling. it used to be under the Video menu and would allow you to play a video at its native resolution with a black border around it. it disappeared sometime recently...
thats too bad. mpc-hc has had it for almost 2 years now. i think color profile support would go a long way towards giving VLC more acceptance in the HTPC community (which seems to go mainly to mpc-hc)
I too am having the problem of audio skipping every 1/2 second on mkv files with 5.1 FLAC. i am using the latest vlc 1.1.0 nightly build. these files work fine with mpc-hc but i would rather use vlc...
