I try so long finding a card but for the most cards are only cards where i have to pay for linux drivers to get v4l2 or vlc support.. can you maybe name 1-2 cards is this possbile?

my client get 3-4 RTP Streams and now i try to show all 3-4 in a mosaic on 1 42" TV. What do i have to do??

iam transcoding a dreambox TS Stream with VLC 1.0.2 on Ubuntu Karmic System.

The Problem is every day i get this error message and after i switch the channel on Dreambox to an other one it will work again for some hours, till this error message come.

Yes all the same i also tried version 1.0.5 But i think i find the reason...i get a http stream from my receiver for example 192.168.0.1:31344 and if i switch channels with same resolution its no problem, as soon as i change to a channel with a other resolution than the channel before i get this vlc...

i just tried to use mp4v and same thing happen...i have a other server with ubuntu and vlc 1.0.2 there the vlc dont crash...must be a bug in windows VLC
