But as I said, it's working and checking the log now, it doesn't list the failure anymore. I mean I'm happy about that. If this problem turns up again I will post it under the same topic. Thanks again.

After updating to 0.9.9a for MacOS X not only the progress bar had a glitch, also the title of the media track just playing didn't show up. Actually it rendered the VideoLAN player worthless for my kind of use. What I did was I went to http://download.videolan.org/pub/videolan/vlc/0.9.8a/macosx/ and...
