Is it possable to control vlc from a remote system? I have a computer set up as a server and connected to my tv. I can go to that system and play the videos but I'd like to be able to control vlc from a remote system like my laptop as I'm sitting on the couch.

Would it be possable to add an option to have files dragged and dropped onto the video window encued instead of played? I usually don't like haveing the playlist open and if I drag and drop additional files onto the video window it stops whatever is currently playing for what I add when I just want ...
