Finally bought the card, ended up with a Terratec Cinergy 1200 DVB-C.
Works fine, even though installing the firmware on Debian wasn't that straightforward..

I'm having problems encoding audio into mp4a. VLC doesn't find the AAC encoder, even though I've installed it separately.
Is there anyway to tell VLC where to look for FAAC?

I've encountered a wierd error while trying to stream a mpeg4 file on a Debian platform. It works fine with normal mpeg2 files. Even the mpeg4 streaming works fine on WinXP platform with exactly the same parameters.. Could it be some codec error, or what? Where could I find a listing of these error ...
