I did not know this was a microsoft product :D

however, it is a good feature to allow multiple videos to be shown at the same time... but it should be possible do disable this... most of all by the matroska specification itself... which can set tracks as non-default

hi i found out something new the problem only appears when using matroska files created by avi mux. with matroska files created by virtualdubmod, everything works fine. is this still a bug of vlc? because i tried another player (it was kmplayer i think) that showed no problem. i cannot always use vi...

OK, thanks, I now tried two of the 1.0.0 releases (pre1 and pre2), the problem is now visible more clearly, I think. In fact, I think in 1.0.0 is a function called overlapping subtitles, so when two subtitles are to be shown at the same time, they're not at the same position any more, but the new on...
