Re: 0.9.9 Right click playlist options buggy?

This is already tracked under Ticket #2297 (new defect), erroneously starting to play a file when only "add to playlist" is selected with no instance running is not specifically mentioned. Also with my current 0.9.9 (build I have no idea) even if VLC is already running - with "add fil...

VLC Player should accept off format srt files

The correct decimal separator in srt files is the comma. 00:00:00,000 is the correct time stamp format. VLC Player, among others, requires this. However, some players and editors apparently do not like commas and substitute decimal points, as in 00:00:00.000 and VLC currently will not recognise thes...

0.9.9 Right click playlist options buggy?

I am using 0.9.9 on XP Pro SP3. I do not know if this is OS specific so it comes here. I could not find a thread with this in, but I could have missed it, if so sorry. "add to vlc playlist" right click, results in all marked files being added to the list, but the player starts too - it act...

File name (parts) matching on open

Is it possible to double click "film (2008) cd1.avi", and have it add "film (2008) cd2.avi" etc to the playlist? Trigger would be the same string with increasing numeric values at the end, so Part01, Part02 would work. Yes, ok, I can now select both and "play in VLC", o...

Re: wrong decimal separator in .srt files

I did some more research and reported the bug to Bsplayer. It seems they currently use the default system decimal deliniater and so if I change that to a comma it works. I have hopes they will fix the bug though. The reason few people have noticed it becomes clear too, most VLC users are probably Eu...

Re: Playlist and Subtitles | attach subs to play list items

How I do it is: name each video file something like - this is a film (2008) gary Glitter CD1.avi this is a film (2008) gary Glitter CD2.avi - name the sub files appropriately - this is a film (2008) gary Glitter CD1.srt or this is a film (2008) gary Glitter CD1.sub this is a film (2008) gary Glitter...
