Re: Building font cache

It used to work ok with roaming profiles as well. They only appear to have broken this functionality in the last update in 1.1.5 as it always used to work fine. It just cannot handle the path properly. Most probably a simple fix but when Adobe did the same thing with the Adobe Reader it took them ov...

Re: Building font cache

I agree. It is a pain having to do the workaround on every computer with every user's account if in fact it saves the setting.

So it seems to be trying to create it and not managing it. Even deleting the vlc folder does not help. The folder gets re-created but the cache file is ne...

Re: Building font cache

This annoying problem is also happening to me and has been ever since updating past VLC 1.0.5. I have kept installing the newer versions past 1.0.5 thinking that they must have fixed it but the problem remains. Every time I try to play a video it makes me wait for about two minutes while it rebuilds...

Re: Grain in Windows 7

I can confirm that the issue is with the VLC software and Windows 7. I tried all the different video output modes and all were the same under Windows 7 with 1080p files (720 is watchable) It seems to mostly affect scenes with lots of light and/or action where the video will keep sticking and become ...
