I don't understand how to use the control seek command. The streaming Howto does not tell much about it.

It makes no sense with VoD, so it's for broadcasting, but I tried and whether the stream (from a file) is playing or stopped, it does nothing

Sorry, actually I didn' knew how to authorize anonymous access to the video
now it's allright

all i had to do was in Setup / Basic Configuration / 1.Users
to set Enable anonymous viewer login to true
