Thanks for the reply! I just checked, and yeah, VDF files are compiled for windows. fxTemp (an advanced VHS noise filter) was done in Microsoft Visual Studio. I guess VLC can't use those. Still, this is functionality missing from VLC. I think MPlayer had something for it, but it appears depreciated,...
