Honestly what the --please stay polite-- could have you guys done to the code to --please stay polite-- up my system this much? VLC was great in 9.8 then I saw 9.9 and thats were I made the fatal mistake of downloading it VLC now dosen't play with the controller in the video and it won't open .mkv's...

Okay, I updated VLC ( Wish I didn't )
Now .mkv's takes longer to open and I don't have an interface at the bottom where I could change the volume and change where I am in the video
How do I fix this?
