Re: Casting multiple files in sync to multiple players.

..anyone has a good idea how to do this ?.. I think that is very hard to realize without special hardware (syncable DVD-players..?)...I would try to authorize _one_ TS-Stream with 3 video tracks and stream it to 3 different standalone network clients (Kiss/Pinnacle/Buffalo/MiniMac with VLC/???) wit...

hi,
maybe a solution: stream friskyradio to a file and try multicast with a _new_ VLC instance using that increasing file as a source..

hi,
what kind of '.ts file' do you use? If you try to open Dbox Neutrino *.ts files, please forget it or request a fix at http://forum.tuxbox.org
The Dbox *.ts files are not valid because of missing PMT/PAT

hi, sorry, but i am not very motivated to do that at the moment....there is no response (one exeption) from the Dbox developer and I have to think they are no longer interested at VLC with movieplayer. I use VLC as it is at the moment and everthing is ok for me....the movieplayer was a dead born chi...

Sorry, maybe there is a new 'problem' with the fu***** movieplayer and VLC :-( http://vthr.via.ecp.fr/~videolan/build/win32/vlc-win32-200506142352.zip works out of the bo...

hi, yes, and I would _never_ have the idea to request VLC-support for such streams..I am only sad about me, that I could not convince the Dbox developer to add the missing PMT/PAT to the 'Neutrino' ts-stream. There is another 'GUI' (they call it 'GUI' but it's quite more..it's a worldview) for the D...

I would like to add that streams without a PAT/PMT are not valid MPEG-TS streams :D
yes, you are totally right...but some of the Dbox developer don't agree with that. I tried to convince them to add PMT/PAT since one year...without success :-(

hi, I second that request e.g. to use programs like the Cidero UPnP Media Controller A growing number of UPnP A/V-compatible MediaServer and MediaRenderer devices are becoming available for the networked home. To date, control of these devices is most commonly accomplished via a UPnP control point e...

You will see that the file size of dboxfiles.html is different in each build, the 761 byte version is good (vlc-win32-2005040603) and the 762 byte version is bad (vlc-win32-2005040703). I havn't looked at the difference between the two files.. but I did...and the only difference is a 'CR' at the en...

hi,
I only know that VLC won't play Dbox Neutrino TS-Files because of missing PMT/PAT
Maybe the dreambox TS-Files are also without PMT/PAT so you have to request that from the drembox developer. The only Windows Player who plays such files is afaik, the MediaPlayerClassic.

hi 'Guest',
try that one http://vthr.via.ecp.fr/~videolan/build/ ... 060324.zip it's the last win32 snapshot that works perfect for me and I'm sure if it not works for you with the Dbox, it must be your fault and not VLC.

yes, I am absolute sure http://vthr.via.ecp.fr/~videolan/build/win32/vlc-win32-200504060324.zip works fine, but http://vthr.via.ecp.fr/~videolan/build/win32/vlc-win32-200504070325.zip and every following version don't work.
