meanwile i can listen to the captured audio. wrong config

but now i try to stream it. i am able to stream a mp3 file, but when i try to stream the direct show audio nothing is on client.

i'm trying to capture audio of the line-in port of my soundadapter using direct show. In windows i can hear the sound, but vlc doesnt get it.

does somebody know about that?

thanks for that advise, but i think that won't work everytime. because my network is "moving" the signal loss might be around 20 minutes or so.

i also have a USB grabber an can't select it as audio device. does somebody know grabbers that have video and audio separatly?

Hi,
i am streaming DVB-T and webradio to my lan. That works fine so far, but when there is a signal loss VLC stops and i need to log on to my server an klick the play button to reactivate it.
Is there a way to stream even when there is no input signal?
