Re: Toolbar: Buttons to switch Audio Track & Device, Subtitl

You can use your keyboard (hotkeys)

'b' = cycle trough audio tracks
'v' = cycle trough subtitle tracks
Shift+a = cycle trough audio device

You can change the keys in preferences

Re: .--please stay polite-- sub disappear when seeking

This must be an VLC bug, and has nothing to do with the timings I think.
Cause I have also a MPEG2 video, and there . A ss sub is displayed normal (also when you seek).

.ASS sub disappear when seeking

Hello, First I have to say this is a small problem but still it's a bug. I found a bug in the combination DV AVI (or MP4) with .A S S sub Displaying the sub is fine. But when I seek the sub disappears. To get the sub displayed again I have to re-drag'n drop, and that after every seek. I use those .A...

Re: Open playlist when VLC starts (1.0 used to do this)

Ok, so what is your point?
Nervermind, with 'I prefer the old style' I meant that I wanted a separate window for playlist.
Now I found out how, so there is no problem...

Then unstack it.
I unchecked docked playlist and now it's normal again (serperate window for playlist)

Re: Using .srt file with DVD problem

For me it's still not working. Sometimes I do get it working when playing a DVD from the begin without forwarding/seeking, and that for 20 minutes. Then after that time the subtitle disappears. From that moment I hardly get it working again. And when you seek or forward on the DVD then you can forge...

Re: Using .srt file with DVD problem

SRT with DVD is still not working

Media Player Classic does support this. I think it is time for VLC to solve this, cause this is a big disadvantage.

Re: Problem Playing AVI-DV Footage on both PC and Mac

I experience the same problem as you. When I capture with WinDV, it creates many RAW DV AVI files (different scenes). With those RAW DV AVI I have problem. I get same problem as you (screeching sound etc). But when I edit it and export one large DV AVI, then there is no problem. So I think RAW DV AV...

Join MP4 with variable framerate

Hi,

Is there any tool that can join MP4 files? So without re-encoding.
Avidemux cant handle variable framerate. Maybe there is a command line for VLC?

Oh and the MP4's are all from Nokia N95

Subtitle Large support

When you set the subtitle size to Large, lot's of times it will become like this. The last word doesn't fit in the line http://img101.imageshack.us/img101/6661/vlcsnap2010041416h11m22.png This isn't constant, only longer sentences become like this (wich is lot's of times). So this is a bit annoying ...

Re: VLC bug? DV AVI Vegas

You mean youtube shows the video is only 4:42 long?
Then it can't be a VLC bug.

Maybe a codec conflict problem (cause I also had this with VirtualDub. Last time I rendered a DV AVI once without problems
