Seems very stable and works well on my XP machines, am now anxiously awaiting a Fedora Core 4 wersion.

Has anyone loaded VLC media player 0.8.1.1 with Fedora Core 4 yet? If so could you please post how you did it here? mark, I think what you want to do is go to
FILE OPEN CAPTURE DEVICE then select your tv tuner from the video device list, then select your audio device, then click the stream output box then hit settings and enter the IP ADDRESS you want to stream to.

never mind, it was the Fedora firewall, I added the correct port to IPTABLES and it works.

I am a newbie to videolan, however I am having a pproblem. I am able to stream video from my LINUX fedora core 3 computer to my Windows XP computer, however I cannot stream the same file from the WINDOWS XP system to the LINUX system, Does anyone have any idea what might cause this?
