What can I do?

Bug: wheel mouse scrolling doesn't work in preferences menu on the right side in the preference menu

where can I find this option?

similar like in some DVD Playback software e.g. PowerDVD.

The playback bar should be seen, if your mouse move to the upper or bottom side of the screen

add a forumlink in VLC Aboutmenu or directly in the helpmenu, so more people will know this support forum

but this is not what I mean

VLC should remember the LAST volume setting

VLC should remember the last volume setting and also if the mute button was on or off?

VLC should show the filename in the title

VLC should autosearch the internet for unknown video/sound codecs.

I know that Media Player Classic has such a function

how can I do this?

VLC should be able to play videos in desktop background

Hi

a panning bar to adjust the volume (from right to left) similar like in Winamp would be great.

Some videos has 2 different languages. one language on the right speaker and one on the left speaker. so it would be nice if VLC would support switching between this 2 speakers with a panning bar

it would be nice if you could easily drag and drop subtitle files to VLC and play the moview with this subtitle.

you could use 7ZIP to compress the NON-EXE version. It offers a much better compression ratio than ZIP

Playing Videos encoded with VP3 Codec is still a little bit choppy with VLC. Maybe you can update the VP3 codec which is used in VLC.
