Re: VLC Stream to Web Flash Application

A little unsure of the meaning of your question Do you want to "stream" your file, as in simultaneously live broadcast the file as it plays via your web page? This site and VLC topic specific link may be a place to start (Not specifically Flash) http://forum.videohelp.com/topic259354.html ...

Re: TV+PC connection problem, cant fullscreen on tv??

I think this is a problem with your nVidia setup, not VLC! Perhaps you might want to post your enquiry on an nVidia forum? But.. You might want to try clone mode rather than dual view. With my current nVidia setup on a windows box, Clone mode will switch the video output to the "TV"full sc...

Re: PC vlc stream to 2 different ip's simultaneously

OK... Basics So I will be basic and simple Firstly, do you want to "Stream"? That is all clients (friends) watch the same video output from a streamer(Eg VLC), watching the same DVD,Video file, Live Camera,Audio file, etc. All at the same time? Or Do you and your friends/clients want to sh...

Re: Deinterlacing problem with live stream

OK. Thanks for that.
I will look into doing it.

Is a "Deinterlace stream" feature likely to be available in the User Interface in the proposed new versions?
It would be very usefull.

Cheers

Re: VLC wont stream live footage

This may be of help if all else fails... I have run and installed the "Hauppauge ImpactVCB " in several instances. I have found that that the supplied WDM drivers for XP are prone to strange behaviour and often give trouble with various video applications. I have found that the Sourceforge...

Re: Stream wmv to windows media player, just buffering

If you use a "metafile" or "redirector file" such as a <xxxxx>.asx MS Media Player, VLC, or in fact most media players will be able to pick up the stream and display it. You will need to point the media player at the .asx file, say in a web site or web accessable location. Exampl...

Re: VLC - stream to web site

I have bumped this thread back up, as the streaming to website issue seems to be popular again?! Check back through the thread. The simple "hellofilm.asx" example file and the line of html to embed appears to work fine for me, and seems good for the browsers I mentioned that I tried it wit...

Problems viewing a live stream in browser

I am having a problem viewing a live video (camera and capture card) vlc http stream in some browsers. I am being presented with a “save file” option in both Explorer and Firefox, but cannot watch the stream live. The file I get is a bin file with no extention.. The file is playable under Linux as i...

Re: VLC - stream to web site

Update... This solution is now working well with good picture quality, but ....! With some limitations. Picture quality seems to be very hardware dependent. To explain in brief Noise at pixel level appears to be giving VLC a hard time to cope with compression/transcoding/ whatever.. So. Poor quality...

Re: VLC - stream to web site

Thankyou ibstars VLC - Stream to Website works After some experimentation, I have got your solution sort of working in Apache2 under Ubuntu 8.04. It is currently working in a intranet local network, served from Linux and accessed by windows XP. Picture quality is unpredictable, I believe this is due...
