hi, when i was using a previous version of vlc (i think it was 0.8.5), i had no problems with the player at all. after updating to version 0.9.8 i can hardly use the vlc player anymore... one of the main problems is the pause lag: at some videos it takes many seconds from the click on the pause butt...
