For some reason whenever i open up an HD video in vlc, after a while it freezes, and unfreezes 5 sec later. It does that every 2 minutes. I even disabled the Loop Filter for all HD videos, and that only made it worse. Sometimes it even does that to normal avi files that are 170mb large. I know it's ...

Is there a way to set a default aspect ratio? Most of the shows i watch, i have to change it every time i open a new episode. Help would be appreciated.
