Am I just missing something? It seems like VLC will do everything under the sun, but I can't find any compressor/limiter/enhancer for the audio. VLC used to work great for me, but I upgraded to a new computer and the new version, and now it does about a 1/2 second skip (both audio and video) every 3 to 5 minutes or so (when playing a DVD Disc).
