Since updated last 3.0.16 windows 10 64 bit version it crashes continuously, impossible to use it.

Solved!
It was the Windows Defender's "Controlled Folder Access" feature preventing VLC from saving any new file any where!

Vlc 3.0.0 don't record

I cannot record what is playing using the "record" button.
With previous version I was able to do it, now no more.
Btw also the screenshot button has no effect at all :-(
Any solution?
Using Windows 10 64 bit 1709 (build SO 16299.248)

sorry but how could I "build my own ffmpeg?
I saved a screen shot streaming using Capture Fox, a good firefox addon, then I can play the avi file with all player but VLC :-(
