couldn't vlc play use a compressor program like winrar to buffer and uncompress a video while vlc plays the uncompress video format ? it would use more memory but video sizes would yet be small by 1% ~ 5% although winrar isn't a great compress KGB is which would make formats 5% ~ 10% smaller anyways...

cvlc name is already reserved for command-line VLC.

That's most likely gonna take a LONG ass time to do

rmvb sometimes lags and skips a small part of the video
when i try playing on real player it's fine

There shouldn't be format support differences between Windows versions. Video output quality can vary.

maybe it's just a bug in the beta :/

nevermind mvs are video files from xbox games or some of them but i think i'd be the only one watching them so just forget it

1.0.1 version of vlc can't seem to playing flv files on windows 7
