maybe there is a shortcut to solve my problem. is there a way to have playlist and player as one like the wmp? then i wouldnt need the wmp skin for vlc.

with vlc --verbose 2 --extraintf=logger I dont have a skin even though I have it when I start it the normal way.

when I start the player with "vlc --verbose 2 --extraintf=logger" all skin options are disabled so I cant reproduce the error (when I start the player normal the skin is enabled)

ah sorry I missunderstood. The error doesnt occur when using vlc -I skins2

When I use "vlc -I skins2 --verbose 2 --extraintf=logger" the error doesnt occur. I tried to save the preferences and restarted vlc but the window was black again.

Hi, Iam having problems using skins with vlc. Without skinable Interface activated the players works perfectly.
