Re: Windows 7 64 bit pixelation

So that means there are technically, two ways to get VLC working well in W7:

1.) Use Vista driver

2.) Use OpenGL

I think I'd prefer the Vista driver way if that won't cause any problem, but W7 and Vista driver is in one .exe, how on Earth do we know select Vista?

Re: Windows 7 compatible?

I'm gonna stick with Vista till they fix this issue. I don't know why they aren't admitting it. I don't think it will be this hard for them to fix. Weird really.

Re: Windows 7 64 bit pixelation

Vista and W7 display drivers are the same for ATI, so that's not a solution. As for DX or OpenGL, will those disable aero?

So VLC is the only media player I'm gonna use in W7. I'll be installing it in a few days. I just saw the front page and although it says W7 Compatible, I heard there are pixelation issues. Please someone post a solution ASAP so I can finally install Windows 7. Because seriously, this is the only thi...

Problem in Vista

Every time I watch a movie in VLC, the movie appears washed out in Vista. For example, the credits of the movie should be black, it looks grayish, however, it looks fine in WMP11 with Vista Codec pack. But I want VLC to work fine in Vista! Help! Oh, yeah, before I forget. I change the Output to Dire...
