Well, K-Lite seemed to be what I needed, so I decided to just ditch VLC and stick with Windows Media Player 11.

I did an upgrade to my graphics drivers, but my vids still fail to run right in VLC. G Gundam runs fine in Windows Media Player 11 (which fixes that), but my one other vid (Interstella 5555) shows no picture in Windows Media Player and has messed up colors in VLC. I tried GDI AND OpenGL and the video didn't even display with those two.
