Hum ... wonder why my post timestamp is showing up as January ... time warp?

I've been posting on a form topic thread but my post times are showing up as January, 20 2009. My PC clock is fine, and forum top page is showing the right date so what gives? Is this a bug in the forum software? Here's an example: http://forum.videolan.org/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=64681&p=21992...

I've upgraded vlc to 1.0.1 from 0.9.8a on my mac mini (intel) running OSX 10.5.8. Now my DVD won't play. The DVD plays fine using mac's DVD player software however.
